Today, March of Dimes announced the appointment of Gabriella Sherman MD, MBA, vice president of clinical innovation and performance improvement, Huntington Hospital, to the March of Dimes Greater Los Angeles Market Board.
As a member of the local March of Dimes board, Dr. Sherman will serve along other Los Angeles leaders as a volunteer, representing the public in governing the organization and advancing the fundraising efforts, raising critical funds to benefit the March of Dimes’ mission to lead the fight to improve the health of all moms and babies. She will serve a 3-year term.
“I’m honored to be named to the board of the Los Angeles March of Dimes, whose efforts to advocate for the health and safety of babies aligns with the work of Huntington Hospital’s Level III NICU, the only of its kind in our region,” said Dr. Sherman. “Our advanced care for mothers and babies, combined with March of Dimes research and outreach, is an alignment that is professionally rewarding and personally very meaningful.”
“We’re honored to have Dr. Sherman join our market board,” says Kari Boatner, March of Dimes Greater Los Angeles Executive Director. “Her passion for innovation and our cause, will strengthen March of Dimes’ work to find new solutions to give all babies the best possible start in life.”
