Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. It’s a disease where cancer cells form in the tissues of the skin and can spread to nearby tissue or areas of your body. The most common types of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.

Our multidisciplinary team of medical experts is highly trained in the treatment of skin cancer.

At Huntington Cancer Center, an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai Cancer, our team is focused on the individual needs of our patients and their families, and we are committed to delivering extraordinary clinical care using leading-edge technology in a personalized and supportive environment.

Signs & Diagnosis

Cancer screening is a critical part of proactively managing your health.

Regular self-exams are important and seeing a dermatologist for an annual skin check is recommended to catch skin cancer early, when it’s easiest to treat and cure.
